Tell us about your professional life before J.Hilburn? 

“I’ve always been an entrepreneur, first supporting my family business, and I currently own a women’s boutique. Then covid hit.  I’ve always been an entrepreneur, first supporting my family business, and I currently own a women’s boutique. Then covid hit. I’ve always wanted a mobile business that I could take anywhere, and I saw that opportunity immediately. This opportunity couldn’t be a better fit for the future lifestyle I want.”  

Why did you decide to become a J.Hilburn Stylist?  

“I really understood the benefit of not carrying inventory!  I joined Peg Albert's team after attending a Connect Event with her in Lancaster last September. Given I had never been involved with men’s clothing, it was important to me to have a mentor who would help me grow.” 

What has been the key(s) to your success? 

“I immediately scheduled a pop-up event and sent out an announcement to all my contacts on social and email to get the word out. After my launch, I experienced some resistance in my small town, but the mentoring I received from Peg helped me to spin the brand in the right direction - I am glad I stayed the course! On TNT day, I contacted my niece to share the opportunity. She joined my team as a new stylist even before I finished my training. Peg has helped me onboard Hannah, working with both of us to achieve success. I am so proud of Hannah’s Career-to-Date sales of $11,260. I love seeing men acknowledge the quality of the clothing and come back for more! I wouldn’t be having the success I am having today without the mentorship of Peg, Jennifer Shinners, and Stylist Care. They have been instrumental in helping me get the fit right while I am learning about all the fabrics and the brand itself."

What’s next for you? 

“I am working for the immediate supplemental income, but I see that this will become my main income over time. And, yes, I’ll have that flexible lifestyle where I can work anywhere! Both Hannah and I are going to Conference in July and couldn’t be more excited to join all the Stylists from across the US.”
